Senior Project Manager – Compliance Program Development

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide compliance program. This role is pivotal in shaping the governance and operational infrastructure that will support a new regulated market.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project foundations including program charters, roadmaps, Gantt charts, business plans, and risk assessment frameworks
  • Drive the creation of policies, governance structures, documentation, and operational processes to meet regulatory oversight requirements
  • Coordinate across multiple stakeholders including legal counsel, consultants, operators, and internal advisors
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on execution in a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Support key activities such as preparing for regulatory examinations, developing governance mechanisms, drafting executive briefing materials, and shaping board-level presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5–10 years of senior project management experience
  • Experience leading large, complex custom software application development projects (developed in-house for a specific organization)
  • Active PMP or PgMP certification (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership in building and guiding cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships across all levels, including executive leadership (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience developing change management deliverables (Change Strategy/Plans, Training Strategy/Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy/Plans) (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience leading complex multi-stakeholder, multi-technology projects (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting strategic business and technical documentation (minimum 3 years)
  • Proficiency with MS Project tools (minimum 3 years)
